Just read Democrats will be targeting GOP candidates because of President Bush’s veto on child healthcare bill. If they do this, isn’t this stupid? Could this be a trap? Imagine everyone going after the candidates_some of whom might even be against Bush on this themselves_to the point of making people sick of hearing about it. Soon people will just forget about the real issue which is healthcare for children of poor families. Then with so much talk, Democrats will be coming out as the bad wolf.
Plus it runs the risk of public totally ignoring some other main issues such as intended war w/ Iran; Russia’s incremented threats; mortgage fraud eating away at banks; completely depressed real estate; growing unemploynment; unstable Wall Street; massacres in Myanmar; Iraq’s mounting problems (Blackwater); Pakistan’s threat from Taliban; etc., etc.
And anyhow; do Democrats really need to holler about the veto? The public does know this is something really bad. It doesn’t have to be told!!

Excuse me but this is “news?” The Democrats ALWAYS go after the GOP for something. “Oops, “Senator GOP” didn’t cover his mouth when he coughed. Let’s make sure everyone knows how the Senator is spreading a disease.”
The GOP doesn’t need to trap Democrats, they dig their own holes, complaining the whole time, then get their friends to help dig it deeper, then they fall in.
They’re doing again with this whole Rush Limbaugh thing, trying to accuse him of being against the military, while they fantasize that they are the ultimate military supporters.
(It leaves everyone wondering… HUH? Are you STONED? THIS is what you’re attacking him for?)
But it’s the typical Democrat move lately.
The definition of insanity is doing the same failing thing over and over again. And the left wing has most definitely gone insane.
Which isn’t to say the Republicans are a bunch of rocket scientists either…
And the hole gets bigger… dig dig dig
This is the one issue that most people on both sides of the political fence seem to agree upon. Everyone should be banding together to overturn this veto so that they can focus on all of the other issues.
the problem is that the Grand Ole Party has been hijacked by the Grand Oil Party
and every average American will stand and denounce military industrial theocracy, and the ideal of a ‘new world order’
party lines wont matter
Nope.
They all agree.
